Elder Timothy M. Rainey, a native of Mobile, Alabama, is the seventh pastor of Indian Creek P.B. Church.  He assumed the pastorate in May 1996.  Since that time new ministries have been developed and the church is witnessing growth.  Under his guidance, an Evangelistic Ministry, Military Ministry, New Member's Class, New Members Ministry, After-School Program, Summer Enrichment Program for ages 5-12, Marriage Ministry, Video Ministry, ICPBC Bookstore, Cub and Boy Scout Units, and a Physical Fitness Ministry were organized.  A church mission statement and motto were developed by the membership.  In November 2007, the church moved into a $4.2 million sanctuary and fellowship hall.  Since that time, second floor classrooms in the North and South wing, administrative offices, and The Gathering Place (Holyground, Coffee Shop, Book-N-Things) have been completed.

Elder Rainey is a graduate of Huntsville Baptist Institute (Huntsville Bible College) where he received his Bachelor of Theology degree in 1994.  He received his Masters of Art in Theological Studies and his Masters of Divinity from Faith Evangelical Seminary and College, Tacoma, Washington, in October 2008 and 2016, respectively.  His spiritual involvement includes being a member of the Evangelism Board for Mallard Creek P.B. Association.  He is an instructor for the Articulation/Transfer Agreement between the National P.B. Convention USA and the Evangelical Training Association (ETA) for college transferable credit toward a degree.

Prior to full time ministry, Elder Rainey's career in Journalism spanned two decades.  A 1977 journalism graduate of Troy University, he was an award-winning journalist for the Huntsville Times. In 1997, he was named Troy University's Journalism Alumnus of the Year. On January 1,1998, Elder Rainey became the church's first full-time pastor.  A full-time Administrative Secretary was added in 2015. Currently, five part-time After School Care teachers and a Minister of Music are on staff.  Elder Rainey and his wife, Gloria, have two adult children: Tiria Janiece and Reverend Timothy Mark II Rainey and three grandchildren, Jaci Elisabeth Rainey, Timothy M.
